Adventures in Bansko

Once I went to a team building in Bansko together with Serpact’s company team where I’ve started working recently.

Bansko is a famous mountain and ski resort in Bulgaria where you can find many Bulgarian National Revival houses, churches, hotels, sightseeings and well-preserved nature.

1.

We stayed at Lucky Bansko Hotel and on the next day after our arrival we went to a mountain forest to play paintball. I tried paintball for the first time, so the thrill was great for me.

In the past I was in the army service and have already shot with Kalashnikov AK-47. It was a Totalitarian regime in Bulgaria then and this was during the end of the Cold War period.

But now, although we were using only paint, we had a real battle that included running, tracking and shooting. And for those of you who don’t know it really hurts when a ball with paint hits you

Finally our game ended in a draw

2.

On the next day we visited the horse base in the village of Bachevo. It’s a very beautiful place in the town of Predela, between 3 mountains - Rila, Pirin and Rhodopes.

The encounter with the horses was interesting. We spent most of our work days in the office and we rarely see real animals.

While riding the horse I felt strange and unstable. I wonder how it was in the past when horses were the only transport of the people.

And going back to the hose base. It was good, but being on the ground is best

Finally, we are relaxing in the hotel’s swimming pool

It is good to get away from work and visit new places. I recommend you to have such adventures too.

Hey @BorislavA ,

Thanks a lot for sharing this great time you had with your colleagues with us. I’ve been there a couple times last year and one this year. It’s definitely a good place to go for relaxing, maybe not during the winter time because it gets super crowded.

The resorts are really good and the city itself is cozy. The restaurants around are also good and not that much overpriced even during the high season. =)

Thank you, @FelipePK , for your kind words!

I am happy you like it.

I ve been there in the end of the summer, because I can not ski.

It is a good idea to write about Bansko Jazz fest, but it is another Universe, so … next time maybe.

Greetings.
