Address changes are not approved in Google Maps

Hi, the address changes I not have aremade approvedfor a local parish is not getting approved in Google Maps.

The current address shown in the map doesn’t exist in government and postal department records. For that reason, verification postcards sent to the parish is not being received.

The parish is located in a different zipcode than the zipcode address in Maps.

How will I be able to fix the address?

It takes some time to finally publish on Google maps. Once it is approved you will get notification in your email.

For maximizing the chance of approving suggested edits fill the correct information, and add more information to it.

Regarding your question, edits are approved based on the availability of certain information, required by the system to approve edits, if that information is not available, the edits may be pending or rejected. See this post for more information Why is my edit status “Pending” or “Not Applied”?, if you are a business, you can get Google My Business app and do that your self, or get the Google My Business team to help you here Google My Business help forum .

Hi Raphael, I have installed Business app from Google, and updated the address, but it says, for everything to get updated, the claim should be verified using postcard. But the address given in the Maps is incorrect, but Google only sends postcard to that address.

What needs to be done?
