This is like first time I’m trying to meet up and not sure what exactly is this or how is it gonna be… should i be prepared with anything or just walk in… what are the discussion… can anyone pls share anything that’s important

I am also planning to do a meetup. From what I heard there are two ways it will work. One thing is you can completely organize the meetup where you will take the expenses yourself and the second one every individual has to take care of their expenses.
Let’s say your office people allowed you to give the conference room for Google Localguides meet-up then you can give people attending beverages/free WiFi. Else you can go to CCD and work from their as group. In this case you can buy them all drinks or they can buy their own drinks using their money.
You have option to choose this while setting up the meeting. There are different type of meeting. Geo walk, photo walk, map editing etc. Ypu can choose accordingly and finally after the meetup click a group picture(s) and share it in social media using #Localguides hashtag.
