You can update details about roads, but I can’t see how to update River information… There is a river near me which is unnamed and I can’t see how to name it??

Hi @agentpurpleuk ,
base map information (such as rivers, streets and so on) cannot be edited by Local Guides, however if you notice an error you can report the wrong information whatever is the information for.
To do so you need to hold the click on the mobile app or right click with the mouse on the desktop browser and use the menu option Report a problem with the data, then follow the instruction to report all exact details of the problem.
Google Maps team will revise your report and they will take care of adjusting the information after it has been verified.
