Hey everyone, hope you are all glad to be contributors to google maps. I have been adding several small SME’s and other missing businesses to google maps since I first began in January. What I would like to arrange is for other guides to take up zones or areas with either other guides or by themselves and map it them fully one by one. I have added several businesses including major commercial businesses which were never visible on google maps before. I want to help guide people further by also correcting some misinformation that appears to be up including phone number, opening hours and even missing photos of businesses. Kingston is somewhat easier due to the lower criminal element. It would be a great initiative to try and map out several major places such as Half Way Tree, Liguanea, Barbican, Sovereign, Manor Park and other places. Comment under this discussion and #Let’sGuide others in this untapped island.
I’m happy to help. I live downtown, things are always changing around here. I’ll do my best to keep it fleshed out.
Please be careful with adding places there. Be wary of business policy on photos, safety and advantage. As you can see from my local guides page, I just started in late January but I am already near level 7. I added all of the these places and details because I went there mainly at nights or asked the owner’s permission. Still, I would love to see most of any central area up on Google maps to allow for ease of knowledge and accessibility to the general public. Keep up the work though.
Are you adding 360 images or connected 360 tours?

I have no experience with 360 images, as I mentioned, I’m pretty new to this. Everything I’ve done so far has been for free, just to help people and get some experience.
I haven’t started trying to add 360 views as yet. If someone wants to add 360 views, please do so as you wish.
