I can’t add any roads or addresses in Bangladesh, even though I know a lot of roads and addresses that are missing from Google Maps. I have been noticing this for 2 years. Now it really needs to be fixed as soon as possible. I am seeking for any moderators attention on this.

I remember during the Facebook live session hosted by @JeroenM last Sunday that a similar problem in Bangladesh was mentioned. Was that by you @Sohazur , or was it another local guide?

That makes it a ‘stronger’ case even, when 2 different local guides are reporting the same issue. I’m going to try and find out more.

It was @Dr_Shah_Imran that raised the same issue during last Sunday’s Facebook Live. I was surprised then and I am still surprised now. The Local Guides community in Bangladesh is really active and I was under the impression that Google has feet on the ground there.

This is very much painful for ours that we can’t add missing roads here in Bangladesh. It has been stopped for which reason I don’t know yet. When it will be available I don’t know yet.

@Sohazur the feedback from other local guides so far: it was available in Bangladesh, but was switched off (my interpretation: when the old ‘Map Maker’ option was still active, it could be done, but this was disabled in Spring 2017).
Adding roads is available again in a number of countries, but not yet in Bangladesh. One unconfirmed source told me that it would be available in Bangladesh somewhere in 2020.
But one thing is sure: there is nothing wrong with your account; nobody can do this at the moment in Bangladesh.

I can’t Add Missing Road From my Phone. Map is Updated. But when i want to add a road it says (We cannot fix map issues in this region yet). But my friends can do it (Add Missing Road).
I want to know why its happens to me?

Are you using Android or IOS mobile? Please be informed that adding missing roads is not available for IOS.
