Adding Pictures, videos and reviews from North to South and West to East!

The best thing I have done so far as a Local Guide is that I have Added one Island, Låddeskär, in the archipelago. For this summer 2020, I will add more islands and Pictures from them.

Also, Since I work at Volvo Cars, I have added the Volvo Cars factory in Daqing China, with some Pictures I took when I was in the factory.

Another thing which I Think is of big interest is that I have added some new places on Google Maps where Construction is ongoing.

So that I and all other interested people can see how the area looked before the Construction are completed.

It is a Little pity, that I did not understand how useful Google Maps could be in this area to have a possibility to save the history in specific areas.

Some other things that I would like to discuss, with other Local Guide’s at the Connect Live 2020 is, and also with employee at Google, if possible, is to share some thoughts that I have, to create Google Maps to next level of userfriendliness:

• Adding e-learning, how to use Google Maps in best and smooth way.
• Possible to add places via coordinates.
• When adding places, to be able to add own categories. For example Island, River, Ocean, Sea.
• Easier way to search in my own contributions.
• Google Street View. I can not see my own contributions in Street View. Maybe include street view possibilities into the e-learning course.

And Note, maybe some of my suggestions, Already are things that exist, and in that case;

I have not found those items in the Google Maps programme.

I am rather new to Google Maps and how to adding Pictures and Reviews, so I have so far not understood all things that possible to do in the program.

Otherwise I really love Google Maps and the Local Guide programme!

To have the possiblity to add knowledge of my hometown and when I am on vacatations to share my thoughts of hotels/resorts/restaurants or more. Or adding reviews from hiking in the archipelago.

The possibillities are enormous!

That is why I really would love to be part of Connect live 2020 in October.

First of all, Thanks for the welcome! and thanks for your message!

Secondly, yesterday, when applying for Connect Live 2020, I really tried to understand where to paste in the post/text I wrote. Of course I did not manage. Since I have recieved some other posts about the same object.

Now I do not know, if this post is for only You, Aruni, or everyone can read my message. If Everyone can read this, thanks to you all for explaining how I should do to apply for the Connect Live 2020, event…

OK, but as I understand your message below. Now you have moved my post for the applying Connect Live 2020 to the correct place, in Local Guides Connect homepage?

Thanks for that support if so. Or if not how can I secure my post is in the correct place?

And if you have moved to the correct place, how to inform the judges about the new/correct web-page?

The other things that I have tried to manage for the contest? The video on You Tube, is that seenable via the link I provided at the application and the same for the list I tried to do on Google Maps.? Can you see if those are correct?
