Am kindly asking for someone to assist me how I can add a location map link to my posts. Everytime I type the name of my location on the option below( add a location to this discussion) it does show my location. I have tried this on several posts some work but others don’t. Please help.

Only major cities can be added as location here on Connect. The list is very limited.
I just select Copenhagen, Denmark even when I’m quite a few kilometers away from the city.
You need to find the the biggest city closest to you.
You can always go to Google Maps and find the exact place. And then hit the share button and copy the link. This precise link can then be pasted into your post text (not the location field under your post text).

But if you want to add a specific location (eg. a restaurant, etc.), you could you the link symbol when you formatting the text (next to bold, italic, underline option), @Robkenya . By doing this, you add location link in the text
