I love to add missing places to google maps especially when I travel in Tanzania where I was born and grew up. In 2016 I visited Mwanza, a region in the north of my country where I went for a vacation. The following day was “Tour Day!” I took a backpack and lurched forward for an amazing adventure. It was more than my expectation and a whole day of activities my feet were a little numb so I decided to go back to the hotel. It was then that something shocking happened, my wallet, was nowhere to be found! I was mugged. There was one thing to do, walk back to the hotel, more than 20 kilometers from where I was. I will forever thank the lady on my mobile GOOGLE MAP for her companionship and sweet voice directives. I was astonished that the map had shortcuts which even the locals had no idea of their existence! Till now I contribute so I can help others who might be in a similar situation one day. I like my local guide job!
