Add Category for Covid Vaccine Centers

Hey

To add a missing place of vaccine centers , catergory as Covid Vaccine Center is required, which helps people to find out easily and get vaccinated . During my visit , it took me a long time to find out the vaccine center location , while trying to add that place , unable to see the Category for that.

I already suggested this a long time back with respect to covid-19 testing centers. Look here.

But I realized that the information is actually already to be found on Google Maps around here via

The content partnership program that is enabling local and regional partners to upload their data directly and automatically. Please learn more here: Google Maps Content Providers

Examples include municipalities and public transport providers.

So I think the accuracy of where to find COVID-19 testing and vaccination centers is best left to the relevant authorities.

And if such centers are missing on Google Maps in your area I would suggest you ask your health authorities to team up with Google Maps via the link I shared above. And should they ignore your advice I would take it to the media to lobby for them to change their minds.
