Add a report on Google maps while navigating

I discovered the ‘Add a report’ feature for the first time while using Google Maps on my iPhone. I would like to share the screenshots.

This feature will let users share their observations while traveling. The system will process this information and display alerts on the maps. This will help other users following the same route. I feel its very helpful feature. Please share your views in the comment box.

Cheers,

Hello @PrasadVR

Yes I noticed this as well last week.

Others have said its been there before, but it’s a new feature for me.

It can easily be that the feature is being rolled out in stages over a long period. So both experiences are correct.

Hello, dear, @MortenCopenhagen , @waza28 ,

Thank you for sharing your views. I have observed option ‘Mobile speed camera’ is missing in my screen and layout also different in the display. Just sharing for your kind information.

Local regulations can prohibit Maps from showing where speed cameras are located. Or this subfeature is not yet rolled out completely.

I remember seeing a huge table where features like the availability of the Speedometer in Google Maps is specified in every country and territory. But now I can not find it.

Auf jeden Fall eine gute Neuerung und für Autofahrer sehr hilfreich. :+1:

Übrigens, bei uns sind diese Darstellungen zu Blitzern verboten.

Im Radio werden aber immer Standorte genannt

@Annaelisa Thanks for sharing your views. Speed camera is not shown on my mobile as well. As explained by @MortenCopenhagen , Maps prohibits certain things based on local regulations.
