Adaptive Rock Climbing Introduction

About 7 years ago I was inspired by a friend who lost his life performing a rescue at Mt. Rainier. Out of that tragedy I started looking at his social media and admiring all the amazing places he went through his love of adventure. I decided on that day I wanted to see those places for myself.

I am a wheelchair user born with Spina Bifida. I have always loved the outdoors but had never tried rock climbing. I went on Google to find out how I was going to get up Mt. Rainier and found an organization called Paradox Sports. I signed up for their rock climbing trip in the Shawagunk Mountains that fall and the rest is history. I have since ascended El Capitan in Yosemite National Park and gone on many other outdoor adventures.

This September and October I will be travelling from Maine to California and back to go rock climbing in various places throughout the United States. I can’t wait to share my travels with all of you and maybe get some tips along the way. To follow and read about my past adventures visit enockglidden.com
