I am new on the forums and I am wondering how to view own achievements as I contributed in Google Maps for long time but never saw that there are achievements being given for this, any advise? Thank you and have a nice evening

It seems that I just found out that the achievements are being given for activity on forums, I just received my first achievements Mea culpa for spam. Cheers all good people.

Yes @ErnestMusial achievements are given and you can share that with other local guides on the achievements section of connect. Secondly to check your achievements on Google maps :
Click on your Google maps
then click on the contribute icon as seen in the pics
that will bring you to this page to see your scores and achievements etc. Hope that answers your questions.

You can see your achievements by visiting your profile on Connect and Google Maps.
Your every badge is recorded your every achievement. Otherwise earning new badges earning and getting access to different Google products, getting perks and rewards as Local Guides, and unlock a new level, celebrating your every milestone with monthly or yearly official email are all the achievements. Some of these are reflected via your Maps and Connect profile with badges. Some are your early access and recognition. You can gather and share these in one place like in your profile using this Achievements board.
This is what the achievements board is. It is not about your achievements list. You should read this - What are Connect topics?

I just wanted to let you know that I added the accepted solution to @ShafiulB , as he replied to your question. The purpose of this feature is to help Local Guides find answers when searching on the Connect. Please take a look at : How do I mark comments as solutions? article.

But what I already did on the first day when I got all neceassary information from @ShafiulB was marking his post as “accepted solution” - but when I got back to the topic and want to see his reply on my post, I am not being redirected to his reply anymore and I cannot see his post on the forums, only on my mailbox as I subscribed to messages/replies on my threads. Is there any explanation for this? So in other words, his message is gone, I cannot find it anymore on Connect.

When I reply is accepted / flagged as “solution”, it is displayed on the first position after the post.
You can easily find @ShafiulB 's reply simply scrolling your post down to the first reply, or clicking on the button that address you to the solution

Hello @ErmesT - maybe there is something wrong with my account because when I log in, then I do not see the solution and after clicking “Go to accepted solution” nothing happens, I see the appoved solution only when I am logged out, please take a look on the screenshot which I made when I logged in:
Thank you so much @ErnestMusial for your feedback and for the screenshot. I was able to replicate your issue.
To fix it, please change the “Linear Layout Settings” to “Use default (Oldest first)”
@AngieYC , there is an issue in the visualization when the setting of the linear layout is on “Newest first”
I believe this conversation should be moved on a separate thread

@ErmesT just did what you suggested, and now I am able to see the “Accepted solution” even when I am logged in, thanks!
