The thing I love most about being a local guide is improving the quality of Google maps. I feel an accurate map, with accurate addresses and location of those addresses, is imperative to people getting where they need to go and finding what they need to find. I do a lot of driving on a daily basis and a lot of trying to find different places, and when those places are not represented properly on the map I want to make sure that it’s fixed so that less people have problems finding what they need to. Whether it’s making sure a family member gets to the right house they want to visit or a couple trying to find a good restaurant, being willing to take the time to inform Google and its users of changes that should be made to their maps is imperative to make those things happen.
