I am aware that the issue I am going to raise has been raised already, however I still couldn’t find the updated answer. The issue is, I’ve two email accounts one is a university account and the other one is my personal account. This week I finished my degree and my account will be deleted next week. In my university account my Google map contribution reached more than eight million views, level seven.

My question is can I transfer my contribution from my Google map university account to my personal account?

Hi @1992ibti

Transfer of account is not possible. That is why it’s not allowed to use more than one account.

Even if your university account is closed your contribution on maps remain.

I will advise you keep contributing with one account.

I’m sorry, @1992ibti , but you can’t

According to the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions : “Contributions to Google Maps must originate from a single Google account to count towards benefits and cannot be transferred between owned accounts”

Google Maps has been designed for being used as a personal tool, with your personal account. You can download your contribution before to loose them using Google Takeout, if you want to keep them, but again, you can’t transfer them.

Also, if you are going to upload the same content with your personal account, please remember to delete them first with the account where your contents are uploaded now, to avoid duplication, with the possibility to have this account suspended.
