Please come and join me in my virtual :wheelchair: Accessible Michigan Meetup -2- :wheelchair: . This meetup will be a part of Worldwide Accessibility Walk (WAW) 2020 posted by Emeka Ulor, Connect Moderator. #waw2020 #localguides #oneaccessibility

Also as part of #CommunityMeetupChallenge initiated by @AdrianLunsong

Let’s explore more accessible places in Michigan and the surrounding areas. What does Wayne County of Michigan have planned with helping differently disabled citizens, also what does the Department of Veterans Affair have planned for veterans with disabilities.

The Guest Speakers will be:

  • City Councilman, Alfred Brock, of Michigan who is also a Local Guide Level 10, @AlfredBrock

  • Assistant Director, Tripp Cantwell, from the American Legion, who has years of experience helping veterans with disabilities.

I would encourage Local Guides to participate by sharing their knowledge about accessibility in their area, hoping we all can learn from the meetup and apply them to the society where we live. Meetup language will be in English.
