Accessible Life in Google Earth - Villa Guidini

"Accessible Life is a project created to help all people explore nature and public places, regardless of their mobility, with the ability to share these accessible places on Google Earth. With Accessible Life we want to be able to offer information on those places accessible in the open air which, by their nature, cannot be adequately managed through the accessibility information available in Google Maps."

Today we want to tell you about Villa Guidini, a Venetian Villa which has become the reference point for the town of Zero Branco in the Province of Treviso.

Built in the early 1700s in the classic style of the Venetian Villas, Villa Guidini has remained to this day a fine example of a country villa, with a large park in front of it.

Abandoned since the end of the Second World War, the Villa was purchased by the municipality in the 2000s and transformed into a multifunctional center for the citizens. The space of the villa hosts numerous activities of public and cultural interest, such as the public library and the auditorium, as well as being the headquarters of many non-profit associations. Spaces for public use can be requested by everyone to host events of various kinds.

Most of the area is accessible, with the exception of the upper floors of the villa itself. However, the restoration project involves the construction of an elevator, which will soon make the entire complex accessible to wheelchairs.

Given its characteristic multifunctional environment, the villa can be visited for many reasons: for a dinner at a restaurant with friends, to attend a theater show, to read a book in the library, for a picnic, or even just for a walk in the beautiful park.

It takes at least a couple of hours for a peaceful visit.

Available services:

Accessible bathroom: YES

Accessible parking: YES

A refreshment point (bar and restaurant)

At the beginning of the park there is a small pond, with some interesting sculptures inside.

If you rotate the next image, you will see the villa on the other side

And of course you can stroll through the park, under the shade of majestic trees. The original owners of the villa had wanted to have plants from different parts of the world in their park.

Are you a sports person? Tennis, archery, volleyball and football can be enjoyed in the area

But you can also just take the children to play in the playground reserved for them

Starting today, Villa Guidini Accessible, is featured on the map of “Accessible Life in Google Earth”.

Therefore it is useless to tell you more, since you can find out much more by following the next links:

Villa Guidini Accessibile - Zero Branco - In Google Earth. From there, you can see the area, look at some photos and move around. For an in-depth visit you can open the detailed map created in My Maps, where the descriptions are many, accompanied by photos and 360 ° images. And if you love some new function, just try My Maps in Google Earth

Of course, as there is much more to see, feel free to use the menu in Accessible Life in Google Earth to explore other places around the world added by other volunteers

Want to help?

Do you know an outdoor Accessible Place that is not on the map and want to help us add it? Open the Accessible Life application form and send us a request. We will be happy to provide to you all the instructions about the use of the mapping tools for creating a map to add in Accessible Life in Google Earth

Hi @ErmesT

Great clicks.

May I know which device do you use to click 360 photos? Do you use a dedicated 360 camera like Insta360 or use the 360 photo sphere option of inbuilt mobile camera?

Thanks!

Ti racconto meglio in privato.

Un abbraccio

Thanks, @DibyayanC

I use a dedicate Camera, also because it is the only way actually available to add a Street View blue line in Google Maps

A presto!
