Accessible Life in Google Earth - Sarita Udhyan

This project I have been working on for Accessible Life in Google Earth, started by @ErmesT . I have decided to make my contribution since this project was started by Ermes. But due to time constraints, I could not complete it. But, I am glad that today I am sharing my project with you.

Accessible Life in Google Earth - Sarita Udhyan (Park)

Sarita Udhyan (Park) is the pride of Gandhinagar city. The park is situated on the riverbank in a natural environment, that’s why the park is a center of attraction for nature lovers and photographers. It has special facilities for children to play here, such as sliders, swings, seesaw, etc. Exercise equipment is also placed here. In the morning and evening, many elders of the city come here to walk and do yoga. So the park was recently renovated to keep in mind the elders and persons with disabilities coming here. The entire path has been wheelchair accessible. Check out my review.

The park has special accessible parking, accessible toilets, relaxing benches, and drinking water facilities for visitors.

Let’s see what Sarita Udhyan has to offer:

Type of place: Public Park

Area size: Large (26.5 acres)

Time required for the visit: 1 hour walk around

Public Transport: Yes

Equipped for wheelchairs: No

Car parking: Yes

Space for the disabled: Yes

How far from the entrance: 30 meter

Facilities for a break: Yes

Public toilets: Yes

Food and drink for sale: Yes

Accessible: Yes

Your feedback is welcome.

Congratulations @NareshDarji for this beautiful place.

First place in India to be added in Accessible life in Google Earth, this is amazing.

The park, and the view of the Sabarmati river, and the dam, seems to be so beautiful and relaxing. I am also impressed about the amount of accessible toilets. Great

I can’t wait to receive your submission form, for being able to add Sarita Udhyan publicly in Accessible life in Google Earth

Really well well done

@NareshDarji . We can proudly say that we are having world class public places in India. How times have changed. How much care has been taken to create and maintain such public places. 100 marks should be given to the maintenance staff and 110 marks to public for keeping this much clean. And thank you to provide information about this place

Thank you so much for your appreciation @AjitThite .

I’m very happy today that the first accessibility project in Asia as well as from India has been submitted by me  @ErmesT .

To be honest my childhood memories are connected with this park, I come here often. The quite and natural environment near the city gives a lot of peace of mind.

I have filled up the submission form and I look forward to seeing my project on Google Earth :earth_africa: .

Thank you so much for your appreciation and guidance.

Yes right @Reallylucky , our country has been developing very well for a long time. In particular, public places are being made more accessible. It is because of public awareness that we are getting to use very good public places today.
