Mirpur 10 Bus Stand Area is one of the busiest areas in Dhaka City. From this point, you can move in every direction inside or outside of Dhaka. It has become to transit hub in Dhaka. There are many commercial buildings, shopping malls, hospitals, and other POIs here.
Various kinds of people use this area every day and among them, disabled people are not less in number. As a result, the Accessibility features of this busy business area are very much necessary for disabled people. So, I am going to arrange a meet-up: Accessible Bangladesh, Part #9 (Mirpur 10 Bus Stand Area) to check and update the available Accessibility features there. In this meet-up we will do the following things:
We will check Wheelchair Accessibility.
- We will check and update Wheelchair Accessible parking and entrance.
- We will check and update the Wheelchair Accessible ramps (if any).
- We will check the availability of wheelchair-accessible toilets/restrooms there
- We will check and update any other accessibility features found there.
- A discussion session on the importance of Accessibility.
Date: 30th September 2021
Time: 5.00 pm to 6.30 pm
What you need to do:
- Wear a face mask during the meet-up
- If possible, bring hand sanitizer
- You can bring your mobile and camera
- If you feel sick, please do not join us.
I strongly hope and believe this meet-up will be a helpful one.
Thanks.
