Barishal Reiver Port is a very important place to the people of southern Bangladesh. Every day, thousands of people from the districts of Barishal Division use this river port to travel which makes it very busy. Various kinds of people use this port for travel and among them, disabled people are not less in number. The nearby Barishal Freedom Fighter Park is also a popular place for city dwellers. Disabled people also visit this park to get fresh air.
Bangladesh government is going to lift up all kinds of restrictions/lockdown from the 19th of August, 2021. So, I am going to arrange a meet-up on: Accessible Bangladesh, Part #3, Barishal River Port Area (including the park) to check the available Accessibility features there. In this meet-up we will do the following things:
Thanks a lot Dear @TusharSuradkar Dada for your nice compliments and inspiration. It is going to be my first ever meet-up out of Dhaka on Accessibility. I am a little worried about the bad weather forecast for the next few days. If everything is OK I will connect with you virtually. Best regards
Dear @MukulR I am highly excited to see the accessibility status and of River ports of Bangladesh. For the first time, anyone from Bangladesh will check the accessibility status of a river port.
Kudos to you for your efforts and all the best for the meetup. Waiting for the recap.
Thanks a lot @AbdullahAM Bhai, if you want you can go and join me there in Barishal. I hope together we can make this meet-up a successful one as the previous one. Stay safe.
It will be great to be there as i never been to Barishal; hope in future i will visit there @MukulR vai and also like to meet with @KamalHossenR vai our very active Local Guide in Barishal.
