Chandrima Udyan is considered the Oxygen factory for Dhaka. There are a lot of trees that are helping to purify the air of Dhaka every day. Every morning and evening hundreds of people do their workout here. There is a Skating field for kids, a mosque, walkways, a mausoleum of a former president, and many more. All of these things have this place an important gathering spot for the city dwellers.
Bangladesh government is going to lift the lockdown from the 11th of August, 2021. I am going to arrange a meet-up on: Accessible Bangladesh, Part #2, Chandrima Udyan to check the available Accessibility features there. In this meet-up we will do the following things:
- We will check Wheelchair Accessibility in Chandrima Udyan.
- We will check and update Wheelchair Accessible parking and entrance.
- We will check and update the Wheelchair Accessible ramps (if any)
- We will check the availability of wheelchair-accessible toilets/restrooms there
- We will check and update any other accessibility features found there.
- A discussion session.
