UNBOTHERED '22 Meetup is designed for Local Guides to come together to amplify actions that would make the world a more Accessible place by 2022, especially for those who;
are confined to a wheelchair
have a form of Visual impairment or the other
have learning disabilities
who have a form of Hearing impairment
How do we intend doing this;
We will share 3 places each from our Localities where people who are Physically challenged can visit and feel welcome, so welcome, that they are UNBOTHERED by their physical conditions. This include Hotels, Shopping Malls, Cinemas, etc.
Map Editing (Answer all questions, as it pertains to Accessible entrances and Parking spaces for the places we have visited)
Add Captions to Photos we have added to the maps (to assist those with Visual impairment)
Adjust volume for videos posted on Maps and share some basic Sign language.
Conduct a search for one person in our neighborhood, who; while being physically challenged, champions the rights of others in the community. We make a post on Connect and a video. What we will do with the Video and Post will be revealed on the day of the Meetup.
We hope that at the end of this Meetup and by the end of the Year 2022, we would have been able to improve our world; āthrough our CONCERTED EFFORTS ON ACCESSIBILITYā, and make it a place where everyone can live UNBOTHERED IN A WORLD WITHOUT BORDERS THROUGH GOOGLE MAPS AND THE ACTIVITIES OF GOOGLE LOCAL GUIDES.
