Howdy Local Guides! Just thought I would post about the meet-up I am holding this Sunday, November 26, at Robarts Library. I’m working with a group of students at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Information (more about who we are here and what we do here: https://ischool.utoronto.ca/). We are taking a research methods course, and we are interested in how accessibility information is used on Google Maps and Google Local Guides users’ contributions of accessibility information to Google Maps. We are currently looking to interview Google Maps users who rely on the accessibility information in Google Maps, either for themselves or for others, and Google Local Guides, level 3 and above. If this sounds like you, and you are in the Toronto area, come down and meet us! If you don’t live in Toronto but still want to contribute, shoot me a message and we can arrange to chat over hangouts! Looking forward to meeting you!
