Please come and join in our " #AccessibleBengal : AMTA Railway Station" on 18th December,2020 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m
Amta Railway Station is one of the busiet railway station under South Eastern Railway Zone.
Recently railway services had been resumed.
During the meetup we shall visit Amta railway station and we shall check following things such as
- Check the station has only stairs or, ramp or, both stairs and ramp.
- Check availability of handrails.
- Check the accessibility of the parking area.
- Check the accessibility of the toilets and wheelchair accessible toilet.
- Check the accessibility of the ticket counter
- Check the availability of visual indication for vision impaired.
- Check the availability of audio announcement in every situation for disability.
- Check the availability of seating arrangement for special need person.
To join the meet-up, need only a Smartphone with internet for taking photographs and access in Google Maps.

- All COVID-19 related precautions will be followed during the meetup.
- Wear mask, bring sanitizer and a bottle of water.
