I’ve always liked to explore my home town and the places I get to visit by walking their streets. I love to see the people, the buildings and their main landmarks but I also take my time to watch little details like the animals (birds, squirrels if any…), the food and the colors I encounter at every corner. So when I share photographs about a place on Google Maps I try to show not only the big picture but also some of those small details which I think other visitors would also appreciate.
Whenever I find small new businesses like restaurants or shops I like to give them a shout-out on Google Maps if the service or their products are good, so that way I can help that place to stay on business and hopefully increase their number of customers. I also like to share the pictures and experiences I get in places like theaters, museums or parks because that maybe helps people to find those places more easily and enjoy them too.
I’m relatively new to the Locals Guides community but I really like the way Google encourages people like me to keep sharing their experiences and images by being in constant communication with us and making events like Connect Live.
