The Bonneville Salt Flats, are as the name implies, very flat areas of land covered in salt. Although that might sound boring, when you’re actually out there in the middle of nowhere, with nothing obstructing either your view or the gusts of wind that blow in from the Great Salt Lake, it’s definitely a lot cooler. This place has a lot of history, too, with multiple speed records set here. Even today, you can take your cars out to the flats and blast across the flats.
