About passionate people

Hello everyone!

I am Nicola.

I’ll be frank: I discovered the forum through the email for the connect live event.

Since I am a nosy person, it is strange I never landed here during my regular contributions.

I’ll post more in the future; however, I think it needs better advertising because it is constructive and exciting.

I hope you all will find this post helpful.

I am a strict person; thus, I don’t eat out quite often.

The few times I reward myself with a night out, I try to be productive and helpful by writing a review.

For this reason, my strong point is evaluating restaurants or bars.

In selecting a place, I am very selective due to the limit mentioned above.

I always try to visit new places and to follow other people suggestions.

I seek quality over price. Additionally, I strive to find exceptional experiences.

My added value comes right after the selection.

In reviewing a food and beverage business, I found out that one of the most crucial aspects is addressing the staff.

A successful business takes into consideration customer needs; therefore, the staff must adequately commit with clients.

I am an expansive and extrovert individual; it is quite natural for me to speak with people.

When I visit a new place, I try to figure out if the employees are passionate about their job.

I want to know:
-if their salary is sufficient;
-if their shift is difficult;

-if the owner listen to their suggestions;
-if they have the necessary background to provide customers with the right advice;

-if they have enough commitment with hosts.

A well-paid employee will always take care of the customer even if s/he has a long shift. Also, s/he can create a bond with the customer that provides added value even if the meal/drink is not satisfying.

In my reviews, I always share some sentences about the staff; I think it’s something beneficial.

If you are wondering: no, I do not suffer from solitude.

I am more the type that wants to know if a place has only the food or also a heart.

What do you think? It is something worth mentioning or should I skip it from next time?

Let me know!
