We have recently finished our “Ram Janaki Temple Meet-up” and preparing our up coming “CAN Info-Tech 2018 Meet-up”. Within the period of 25th to 30th January, I have to stay in Kathmandu valley . I just like to ask you,can we host a five days GEO-walk Meet-up within the period of my staying in Kathmandu. We are planing to host a Meet-up “UNESCO World Heritage- Kathmandu Valley Meet-up”. Where we have 7 cultural Heritage sites.I just like to go these 7 sites within 5 days.Would you please, guide and suggest me how to host this Meet-up ?I already discuses with the friends of Nepal Local Guides but non of them shows their interest in the" Meet-up". In this circumstances what will better to do?
Thank you
Hi @bhupalshrestha You can host a Meetup where ever you find yourself and what current city you may be in I know a Local Guide from Kathmandu whose name is @BishowvijayaP am sure he would be ready to join you if he is in the city currently. You must as well try to connect and meet with Local Guides in Kathmandu since that is were you want to host the Meetup and discuss your plans with them. Am sure they would love your idea. You don’t need a permission as well from @HelloJess to host a 5 days Meetup in the city. The only thing
HelloJess needs to do is approve your Meetup when you submit it here on Connect. And once approved you would be able to share it across all your social space. If you have any more questions feel free to ask as well.
First of all thank you so much for noticing me @HelloSamsonR . When Bhupal was in Kathmandu before I managed to meet him in his location. It makes me feel sad that someone from abroad believes that there is someone to potentially join the event but someone from around claims that no one shows their interest. Personally beside my interest, currently I am busy in exam preparation so this is not a appropriate time for me to join the 5 days meetup.
@bhupalshrestha ji, I came to know about your next meetup planning after Samson tagged me in this post. You didn’t mention about it in our visit. Your concept of visiting all the heritage sites is very nice. But visiting 7 places in 5 days; I think it can be impossible for almost all to leave their daily works and engage in the event for whole 5 days.

Unlike my desires and suitability I always use to host the event at Saturday (holiday) to make the event feasible for all.
Another thing is that let’s not confine ourselves within a particular Local Guide Community. You are also the member of Nepal Local Guides as I am. I also had not participated in some events like Photo Walk in Basantapur by @NirajBhusal . I hope he must not have concluded that I had no interest upon it. Feasibility counts.
As Samson answered there is no need to take permission to host meetup because all the applications are checked and approved by googlers. But the design of hosting meetup is such that we need to select specific time period of a specific day, not the range of days. You can apply for first day of your meetup and include the extension of meetup in description or by an announcement. Thank you so much. Best wishes also.

We are not allowed to share any private address here. So even sharing the email is against the policy of connect. I have noted your mail. I am also joining the tomorrow event. There are another two events '18 roadmap and Thamel Amble. You can visit the links and click on ‘ATTEND THIS MEETUP’ button so that you will get email notification of the announcements. About tomorrow event I hope Bhupal will let you know.
Oh! @bhupalshrestha ji is already here just 44 second ago. But Bhupal ji you are not allowed to share your cell number here. Please use the announcement to share the contact number.
as we do not share any personal information, including email address, I have deleted yours in your reply. As noted by @ErmesT , another way of communicating with other Local Guides is via private messages on Connect.
