Google maps are very useful for strangers in searching for any place or place so people can know about the popularity and specialty of that place.
I didn’t know anything about the Local Guide. Later, I used google maps to find a place or to find ways. Later I wondered why if google maps served as a pointer to us, then we could help other people find a place or place. Since I could not, I later made a trip to my local guide to add a place to review in an added location so that people could learn more about it.
As a Local Guide I added many photos to google maps, added places, answered people’s questions and provided reviews on local added places as well. I am happy to help people.
In my view, a local guide is meant to show a stranger the right information, and inform them about any place in our area. Many people can reach their destination through photos of local places. Nowadays, people can reach other people to reach a place. Prefer to use google maps instead of getting help.
