- Earlier in the year,January precisely I was in the city of Abidjan (Ivory coast) for a conference. I visited some very nice places that I should share with you all on connect, should you also decide to visit Ivory coast sometime. It’s a lovely little country too. It has a very modern french style and layout. It gives you a feel of a little Paris. They have very nice hotels and affordable guest house for tourist.
(@Shola4sure chilling in a little modern carriage in the city of Abidjan.)
Abidjan is the capital and a French speaking country also. Like most west Afrcan countries it’s also along the coast. The coastal lines are beautiful to see in the city as you drive along.
While there in Abidjan, I visited the Zoo as well.
Its a very nice and well Maintained zoo. It’s one of the best I have been to in West Africa. We needed to pay a token fee of 2000cfa before going in but it was well worth the while. Most of the animals were caged so excuse some not very nice photos.
My first time to see a very nice and friendly elephant in the open.
aside the zoo are other very interesting facts about Ivory coast:
- It’s s the Highest producer of cocoa in the world. So if you are lover of coffee and chocolates etc, hurrah Ivory coast is place to visit. Well maybe we’ll do a proper post on that some other day.
It’s a place worth visiting and like other places,of course after the pandemic. I shouldn’t be inviting you into place because am not there at the moment, I only visited too but I assure you a welcome will be waiting for you whenever you plan to visit.Till then stay safe and sound!!!
Cheers
