Aba is the SME hub of Nigeria, it’s amazing that over 80% of the Businesses in the city are not listed in the map and many places are yet to be mapped. The aim of this meet up is to add as many businesses as possible to the map. The major aim of this first Aba meet-up is to help businesses in Aba to get noticed to enable people locate them with ease via google map. As Local Guides, we will also explore the One Accessibility walk to improve maps and accessibility information to people with limited mobility, wheelchairs, pushchairs, auditory and vision impaired. We’ll also take photos, edit places and make reviews. GADGETS: Please bring your mobile phones, cameras, chargers and power banks and may be some little money to get you light refreshment. CLOTH: Wear simple shirts and smart shoes for some walk. We will also have some time to network and meet newer local guides in Aba and beyond. WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Everyone is welcome. Local Guides from any part of Nigeria can join us especially from the Eastern region and of course new members too. We’ll assemble at 7 Factory Road by Eziukwu Junction Aba, Abia State - 4th Floor (Rad 5 Technology Hub). Date: Friday, 8th February 2019
