A women biologist through Costa Rica

I started as contributor around 6 years ago, and it was funny because I had no idea. The story is this: in 2012 I visited Palo Verde National Park in my country (Costa Rica), and we went to this amazing place, it’s a view point with access to see all around the area, the wetlands, the plains, the mountains so far away, the sky with little tips of shadows, I remember how significant was for me that place. It was as read the description of some amazing place in the novels by Arthur Conan Doyle.

So, in some moment I share this photo with Google maps and turned out that the photo got a lot of visits. I received an email that said that and I feel very surprised.

I got another perspective when I realized how significant my photo to miles of people was, although the photo isn’t a good picture. Since then, I feel motivated to share the photos that I take in all the places that I visit with all the people in the world, and to do another kind of contributions. That’s why I feel so happy to be part of the Local guide community.

I’m biologist and travel a lot through my country (an exquisite travel destine) so as local guide is my opportunity to share all of that with the world.
