Hidden in an unknown corner of Copnor, Portsmouth, a picturesque recreation ground, Cobden Park. Trees flank both sides of the playground and you can feel the woodchips. There are some swings and seesaws in the center. There is a small grassy mound on the side of the adventure playground, where you can reflect on your thoughts. Sometimes, you can feel a refreshing breeze.
In Copnor’s secret nook, a sight to see, Cobden Park, a haven, wild and free, With trees that line its pathways, tall and grand, And woodchips crunch beneath with every stand.
A playground waits, with swings that sway, And seesaws that invite, to come and play, In center stage, the children dance and sing, Laughing in the sun, with joy that’s ringing.
Along the side, a grassy hill ascends, A peaceful place, for thoughts to mend, Where one can sit and take in all around, And feel the breeze that gently swirls around.
