A walker and local guide

Hi all! I’m a level 6 Local Guide in SE England, looking to progress to level 10. I’m a fairly keen walker, following rivers, public rights of way and generally exploring those forgotten or hidden paths.

A recent walk took us down a public right of way which was fully overgrown and inaccessible, but thanks to Kent County Council and their maintenance, the pathway is once again clear and runs alongside the M20 and A249.

Other walks have taken us past the River Medway and past various Locks and restaurants too!

I’m hoping to help find the forgotten pathways and areas, get them mapped properly and update missing info on parks, businesses and more.

Thanks for reading!

As just discussed here, this is not an easy task.

The authorities who maintains the routes might have proper Maps data that can be shared automatically with Google Maps.

Today, the needed tools are not available to us volunteers.
