Ruvubu National Park, in the east of Burundi, covers 50,000 ha, making it the largest protected ecosystem in Burundi. Extending over varied reliefs (mountain ranges, hills, deep ravines and plains), it is covered mainly by a wooded savannah interspersed with forests. The park brings together 44 species of mammals including hippos, buffaloes, Cob Defassa, warthogs, jackals, panthers but also primates, and countless species of birds.

@dwuw25 Thank you for your appreciation and you are the most welcome. The place is open to all visitors and the way of getting Burundian Visa has been eased. You can now pick it upon your arrival either at one of the land borders or at the airport.
