A trip to meet God~Hiroshima and Okayama #DeepJapan

Hiroshima-Okayama is a wonderful place with a mild climate.

A place where delicious food, culture, scenery and everything are filled with excitement.

I would like to introduce Hiroshima to Okayama.

Itsukushima Shrine’s Otorii is self-supporting in the sea without support.

It ’s a very godly sight.

Itsukushima Shrine When the sea is full, it looks as if it is floating in the water.

A sacred place that only God can enter.

Itsukushima Shrine also has a deer that serves God.

The famous Anago cuisine is very delicious.

There is also a delicious Japanese restaurant.

Seto Bridge

All lines opened in 1988. Approximately 13 kilometers in length is the longest in the world as a railway road combined bridge.

It is also recognized by the Guinness World Record as the “world’s longest railway road bridge”

You can eat delicious Japanese food while watching the Seto Ohashi Bridge.

Kurashiki Bikan District.

The warehouse is a beautiful view like a movie set.

There are actually a number of films here.

Local youths wearing the traditional aspects of Kurashiki.

The person who wears this face is called “素隠居” SUINKYO.

There is an anecdote in 1692 that a young man wore this face and impersonated an old man and participated in an event.

It is said that you can benefit from stroking your head with this prickly pear.

Enjoy a comfortable journey on the Shinkansen.

Don’t forget to eat ekiben!

The ekiben that you can eat while looking out at the train window is as delicious as a full-course dinner.

I was able to see the beautiful Mount Fuji from the train window of the Shinkansen.

This may also be a benefit of the “MIYAJIMA and SUINKYO”!

I will share my album with you. Please have a look.

@955HIRO This place is one of my destinations in Japan. Did you visit there for vacation? The Torii Gate is so beautiful. I haven’t tried Anago, between Anago and Unagi, which one do you like more? Thank you for sharing this nice post with us.

Hello @955HIRO

Thank you for introducing the sacred Miyajima, which is designated as one of the three most beautiful seas in Japan. As you introduced, Hiroshima has a long history as a foreign residence and is the center of world peace. Neither Japanese nor foreigners can stop their tears when they visit the atomic bomb fall point. A handkerchief is absolutely necessary if you go there.

And thank you for supporting #DeepJapan.

Good evening. thank you for your comment. I visited Hiroshima and Okayama on a trip. It was a very meaningful trip with great cityscape, food and climate. I love both anago and eel.

There are different ways of cooking for anago and eels.

Anago is soft and delicious when boiled.

Eels are suitable for cooking to bake.

Baked eel smells fragrant and good. A hot summer stamina dish.

Thank you very much.

Good evening. thank you for your comment. I chose Hiroshima and Okayama for the topics you suggested. Tears came out at the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima.

I realized that we must pass on nuclear eradication as the only A-bombed country on earth.

Thank you very much.

That shrine’s otorii in the sea is beautiful, @955HIRO -san. Mythical. Especially at misty day.

I’ve watched anime “Barefoot Gen” about the bombing. And that’s scary

Good morning. thank you for your comment. As you said, it was like a sacred atmosphere wrapped in a mist that God would appear. It was a place where God lived. Have you ever seen Barefoot Gen? In Japan, it is famous enough to be used in school materials. The real story about the atomic bombing is a story that is still handed down as a symbol of war opposition. Thank you very much. Regard

Hi, @955HIRO -san.

Yes, I’ve watched Barefoot Gen and read the manga as well. The depiction of the bombing is very scary.

I prefer watching anime “In This Corner of the World” by director Sunao Katabuchi.

Hey @955HIRO , did you know that these places that you have gone are my favorite places in whole Japan. First time when I was in Japan, I was living in Fukuyama and of course I made the same trip like you several times. You are absolutely right that there you can find delicious food, culture, beautiful scenery and everything you need for a perfect vacation.

The centuries-old Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima island is an amazing place. I went there 5 or 6 times and every time I enjoyed it more and more. For me, there you can feel the spiritual sanctity.

And what can I say about Hiroshima - city with sad history, recovered at all today. There you can feel the tragedy and on the other side you can see the positive vibes from all of the people living there. The routines of daily life in Hiroshima are much like any other large city.

The National Park Setonaikai is perfect for a trip. You can enjoy cycling, walking, good food and many other activities there. I went for a cycling and it was a long day. It was hard but very funny.

And let’s share about Kurashiki, too. There are lot of shopping center there. So I went there for a shopping and really enjoyed walking in the city. Many of Kurashiki’s former storehouses have been converted into museums, boutiques and cafes.

Thank you for remembering me all of these amazing places @955HIRO . It was very existing to write about them.

#DeepJapan I hope @YasumiKikuchi will like my comment too
