According to me, Museum is one such place which will never let you feel alone - even if you are travelling solo there. I just love visiting different museums and mostly those which tell some intriguing story behind it. Museums that show some historical facts and information about any past era really excites me.
But from the past one year, my interest got changed to visit some different kinds of museums. Now, I like visit those which show some unique information - like telling stories about health & sanitation, law & justice, clothing etc.
One museum where I visited recently and which is very close to my heart is GD Naidu Museum (Coimbatore). This museum is some decades-old and showcases some of the famous cars of vintage times. These cars mainly belong to the English, Portuguese, French & Dutch people who were living in Indian sub-continent in the earlier times.
Most of the cars here are donated by their respective owners to prepare this magnificent collection. The museum authorities have managed this place museum and they really deserve an appreciation for it.
If you happen to be in Coimbatore, then I strongly urge you to visit this museum.
Here are the pictures of those amazing cars that I took on my visit.
There were many vintage cars on the display, but yes I can’t upload the pictures of many of them. I want people to self-explore the museum & enjoy their visit.
Very nice post @Tushar18 . We can see a lot of nice vintage cars in this post. The photo quality and description are great. Thanks for sharing this nice post with us.
This is really a treat for Vintage Car Lovers, all the photos of cars are too good. The mango colored car looks like a ‘Herbie car’ from the film ‘The Love Bug’.
