As business manager by qualification and trade, I know something has legs to become a good business. Recently a colleague I supported to transition life at work offered me a cake to say thank you. Aoki Varela as she is known on LinkedIn is from Portugal, and has been living in London since 2012 or so.
As soon as I saw the cake, I could not help but wondered why she has not set up an online business. She did not have a name for the cake, but I called it “Ferrero Rocher Vanilla cake”. It is also made of organic eggs. As I collect the cake, I got a friend to try a bite and guess what, he ordered the cake for himself. And to say thank to my friend Aoki Varela, I volunteered to deliver the cake. That was her first order and I hope her business will thrive. Good luck Aoki Varela.
