A Thank You for all Local Guides

Over the last 10 years I’ve lived in 3 different countries and I’ve had 16 different addresses spanning across 7 different cities… And although most of those cities like New York City and Chicago are great touristic spots and have plenty of recommendations for places to visit, when it comes to finding really good places to actually go to, in order to really experience the city, my go to, just like everyone else, has always been Google.

Whether it is a barbershop with crappy reviews or a Forex exchange bureau around the corner from an Airbnb in an unknown city, I have learned to rely on the inputs from millions of people who do exactly the same thing I do… Move around and give their informed opinion on the places they discover.

So as I continue to explore my new home city of Sacramento, I see no better way to return the favor than to increase my participation to the community of people that guided me to the best chicken wings of any pizza place in Chicago, or to the friendliest Chinese restaurant in Omaha NE, but also the mixed feelings of a friendly, yet somewhat lacking barbecue restaurant in Sacramento.
For all of my local guides, expert or master photographers, novice or master directors, I say thank you… And may you continue to impact as many people as you now do…
And also, you should definitely stop by Sacramento’s Tea 18. Best boba tea place in town!!!
My review totally certifies it.
