During our family trip to Kerala, we have visited to the Stunning monument Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari. It is a popular tourist monument located on a small island off Kanyakumari, India and was built in 1970 in honor of Swami Vivekananda, who is said to have attained enlightenment on the rock.
It has the picturesque Indian Ocean in its backdrop and hence serves as a peaceful and serene destination for visitors from all across the globe. It is a place of great scenic beauty, historical importance and religious significance.
There are many ferry services that run between the island and the mainland with minimal charges. The ferry services usually operate from 8 AM to 4 PM.
The visit to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial is an unforgettable experience for us.

Beautiful place. I missed it because when we went the sea was rough and boat services were stopped on that day. For sure will make another trip.

Next time try to reach there early before noon to avoid rush, also ferry service stops at 4 PM.
