Hi all my LocalGuides friends!

I am so happy and I want to share this special achievement with you all.

As you may have known from @Raleigh post New in Google Earth: Create your own maps and stories , a few days ago the possibility was released for everyone, using Google Earth, to create their own maps and stories through a creation tools!

I was lucky to get into the Google Earth Trusted Tester Program a few months ago and the idea of ​​creating something that could enhance my city, being a LocalGuide, immediately got me going!

So, I took inspiration from my shared list in Maps “Vicenza (IT) in One Day” where I listed the main tourist places to visit the best of Vicenza in One Day!

I tried to re-propose it and make it more immersive and engaging thanks to the creation tools of Google Earth!
And the results were truly incredible: combine a 3D view, with your own photos, with virtual tours made with StreetView, personal videos and the possibility of telling your own story in first person and all this in a simple and affordable way!
This mad desire to realize my story, a virtual journey in my city, made me discover the endless possibilities that we now have available!

And it was an incredible emotion when I was contacted by the Google Earth Team about my project and they told me that will mention and link to it in some of launch communications!

Wow! I was speechless!

And after a few days, my project is featured on the official post on the Google Blog and with an official Google Earth Tweet !!

Here is my Vicenza project: Vicenza in One day! (you need to have Google Earth installed on your desktop or mobile to open it)

A nice and original way to promote your city, isn’t it?

And for these results I absolutely have to thanks @Raleigh and @gopalshah that, with their support during the testing phase, they have always encouraged me and recommended me for the best.

LocalGuides, think of your country, your traditions, your memories, your holidays, your imagination: now with Google Earth you have the opportunity to create an epic journey and share it with the whole world!

I am so happy to have found this post today, all thanks to the lovely recap post by @JaneBurunina about her visit to your beautiful city.
It just shows us again, how poor the search functionality is of LGC, as I looked so hard for posts by fellow Local Guides that shared their first Google Earth Project.

Having an interest in learning more about this new capability and stimulating myself to focus on this for a while, I initiated the #CommunityChallenge, where one of the suggested challenges is to convert one’s Google Maps List to a GE project and use that to promote your List on Google Maps to a wider audience.

Your beautiful executed project is the best I have seen so far, so I hope you don’t mind that I am going to tell everyone about it that have shown interest.
Your Google Earth Project certainly has made me interested to visit your town in the foreseeable future.
