My name is Santiago and I am from Mexico, I have a couple of years as a Local Guide and I am relatively new to Connect, however, I must say that I have started to like it, and a lot.
Personally I enjoy writing reviews of the places I visit, beyond staying in a simple “Delicious” or “Very good”, I like to share details that the user will find useful of the establishment, personal recommendations and sometimes what not to do. Although it is a hobby that does not always receive thanks, personal satisfaction is more than enough. The client increasingly has a more present voice thanks to social networks and the media that allow us to express our opinion. That is why our ethical duty is to share the truth, beyond having had an excellent or bad experience, we must evaluate the places from a neutral perspective, pros and cons that took place in order to give a fair rating. Remember that we can all have a bad day and things do not always go as expected.
In the photographic field, I love to capture places from another point of view, where several details can be appreciated at the same time.
Also find pleasant places, both for sight and for the soul. Remember that part of the experience of traveling is to enjoy.
Something I found interesting is to share photographs of museum paintings. I have had the opportunity to visit some very interesting and captured the best that I can the pictures that catch my attention. Beyond giving you an idea of what style or artistic trends the museum exhibits, thanks to the Google Lens tool, the post is further complemented, I am simply impressed with how technology has advanced to be able to inform us in that way. I use it regularly when I forget the name or the story behind a painting.
