Photography day 2024

Photos in this post are captured by different LGs - kindly note it, please.

August 19th is World Photography Day and is celebrated worldwide - the theme of 2024 is “An Entire Day” - Carry a camera to capture what you think is worth - simply click! We may speak different languages but we all can read/understand a photograph easily - right?

Let us creatively celebrate this day!

Simple Challenge - a Humble Request:

Some interesting Points:

• Our eyes have a resolution equivalent to (around) 576 Megapixels!
• A published report stated that there were more than 75 million professional photographers as of 2022.
• It is said that around 300 million photos are taken daily - that’s over 100 billion photos per year!
• As of today, 200 Megapixel is the largest resolution in mobile camera.
• Hasselblad has a high-end camera that produces 400-megapixel photos in medium format.

As I was walking, I noticed metro work in progress.

This is a historic moment for me.

And I love to witness and capture such things.

Here’s the view from the other side:

I like the idea of sharing today’s capture, compared to our best capture.

The photo could be as simple as some construction in the neighborhood, yet a special occasion in the history of the city or neighborhood.
