Nandi Hills or Nandi Betta is in the chikkaballapur district of Karnataka approximately 60km away from Bengaluru city. I inquired from the locals that the best time to visit the Nandi hills is at 5 am in the morning if you want to see the sunrise. I reached Nandi hills approximately about 5.30 am but there was dense fog and because of that I was unable to see the sunrise, but the weather was so amazing that I could not stop myself indulging in the beauty of Nandi hills.There was one Hotel Mayura Pintop at that particular point there were shops of tea and snacks, where tourists were having tea and coffee with snacks like Maggie etc. I clicked some of the amazing pictures there. As the time passed, I was able to see the sunlight penetrating from dark clouds. It was like Silver Lining but what I missed there was a sunrise. I stayed there for approximately two hours and had coffee and snacks while coming to back from Nandi hills I was hungry and spotted one very good local restaurant on the highway, restaurant name was Kushal Tepan Centre there I had paratha (local dish), Maggie, omelet and tea in very cheap and best price. I recommend people coming from Nandi hills should try this restaurant. My short and little jaunt was over and I reached Bengaluru city with some amazing memories with me.
