Today, I met @Aslam_hossain Bhai in person for the first time. I’ve known him online for a long time, but we never really talked before. I followed his work, read his posts, and saw his photos.
We met in Rajshahi and quickly tried to explore as much of the city as possible. Today’s weather was full of rain, not just light drops but heavy showers. While going for the noon prayer, we both got soaked like crows in the rain!
I learned a lot from Aslam Bhai. We took photos together of the same places and shared many tips. He also explained how he takes photos for Google Maps, and I enjoyed hearing about his process.
Since we didn’t have much time, I tried to show him some hidden places of Rajshahi, old and beautiful places that he might not have seen before. I love showing others these places. It feels like rediscovering the city again.
When you do that with someone like-minded, the experience becomes perfect. I hope to meet Aslam Bhai again in the future.
If anyone ever plans to visit Rajshahi, please let me know. Unless I’m very busy, I’ll try my best to give you some time and show you around my city. I truly enjoy doing that.
If it weren’t such a heavy rain day, we would have explored much more together. I’m sorry we couldn’t cover everything because of the weather. You are always welcome again.
