A place for the Skillful, the Hustlers and the Wannabes!

I fell in love with this place as soon as I walked in the door, and who wouldn’t! Wow, it’s just so impressive, so inviting, such a fun and relaxing place to visit with friends. After chatting over a few drinks in the Members Carbine Bar, we visited this cool billiard club graced with 8 full-size, superbly maintained tables, surrounded by cute little nooks where you can sit and chat over drinks and nibbles while waiting for your turn to show off your ‘killer’ shot. We all loved it and had a fantastic time. I have to add that prior to this day, the last game of pool I had was in August 2015 with my very best friend in the UK.

This is billiards and snooker at its best and where you can even have coaching lessons and attend courses run club resident billiards and snooker coach, three times World Champion, Robby Foldvari. Whether you’re a skillful player, a hustler or wannabe like me, this billiards room is one of the best you’ll ever see. You can see my review and photos Billiards & Snooker Room here and I was truly surprised that I was the first to add this place on Maps but so happy that one of my photos is the feature photo. It was really a great pleasure supporting this place which has been closed for an extensive period over the past 12 months. Yes it was quiet when we were there but now that we’re pretty much over the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic here, it’s now open for business again.

This post is my entry in @Giu_DiB 's fourth week of the five-week Local Guides challenge (the Local Stories Challenge). The table below summarizes my entries so far in this awesome 5-week challenge. You gotta be in it to win it

Hi @Sophia_Cambodia

Snooker and Billiards have been around for many years but other than in pubs and sports clubs, there aren’t many parlors left open so it was great to visit this magnificent Snooker and Billiards facility right in the center of Melbourne’s CBD. When it comes to Bowling, and I assume you mean Ten-pin bowling and not lawn bowls, there are even less of these around. It might be different in different countries. Is this the case in Cambodia?

Right @AdamGT I am talking about that Ten-pin bowling and they are found in the supermarket/malls only. There are not much in Cambodia. I think there are two in Phnom Penh (one was closed long time ago) and in Siem Reap, I never came across!
