A PILL I TOOK FOR A BETTER LIFE.

On one morning during my New York Trip this year?, I received an e-mail.

It stated that one of the reviews I’ve written was read over 18,000 times.

For a second, I thought…‘wait… 18,000 views…???’? For over thirty years of my life, the total number of my friends, acquaintances, and all my relatives don’t even add up to a thousand. But what? The number of all the people I know times 18 or even more viewed my post??? ?

At that moment, I couldn’t tell if that number was a lot or not as the local guide, but the fact that the pictures, videos, and the reviews I shortly uploaded being viewed by over 18,000 Google users were enough to make my heart pump crazily.??

The fact that someone is getting help through my experience makes me thrilled. Now, uploading photos and videos are not just for ‘Uploadables on my SNS’ or showing-off my ‘been there done that’ kind of moments, but it will open ‘a place of communication and bondage’??. This right here could be the tool to help my self-esteem to rise. This let me know that to some people, I could be a very capable person, and every step I make, every place I go, I always carry a handful of thoughts like ‘Are there any wrong or new infos updated’, ‘How can I take iconic photos’, and mostly ‘What kind of review would be more helpful for the users searching?’ I feel like I need to write the perfect reviews, not to get the spot lights on me, but on places that are valuable.?

Now, it is absolutely unacceptable for me to eat before I take a photo of the dish.??

By random people just clicking the ‘Like’ once, it has changed my life 180 degrees.

I mean, come on, 20,000 people are needing me right now!

There are countries around the world that doesn’t even have populations over 20,000.

Just think about it! Users, the number of people in a country, looking at my reviews and trying to get help from it? Who could possibly think lightly on the responsibility that comes with it?

They need me and I exist for them as their guide.?

This could mean that the places I’ve been to several months ago, few hours ago, or even now can be searched by people if those places are worth visiting. More surprisingly, the people searching, looking at my reviews for help, could be here among others in the cafe I am at right this moment.

So, what does the local guide mean to me? It is the ‘Advil’ to my life it heals all our journey.

Buen Camino!?
