Being a Local Guide at Google Maps is something to be utterly proud of. Sharing bits and pieces and adding reviews from places visited around the world help other visitors to quickly search and find the hidden gems outside the broader paths. Sharing is just fun, helping other travellers is a pure pleasure.
Google Maps simplify travelling immensely, narrowing down finding of new paths with extremely high accuracy. It is always the main tool for a seasoned traveller, regardless if travelling in home town or across the globe. Adding reviews on restaurants, beaches, viewpoints etc. in addition makes travelling a pleasure.
Pictures above are shared from my most recent trip across the Himalayas, from Sweden to China to Tibet to Nepal to India and back home to Sweden. It was a memorable trip by all means, leaving strong memories and impressions from other cultures, lifestyles, religions and environments not found in most parts of the world.
