Once Mr. @ermest has given a final single to do it now ,I couldn’t wait and did it without any noise -a kind of meet-ups/ a photo walk with a dozen social volunteers at a historical place linked with Mahatma Gandhi Museum, Muzaffarpur, India.
Congratulations for organizing a successful meet-up! I’m waiting for the pictures and the recap too.
Since you visited an historical place and a museum, I think you might like reading this post about The India Literacy Project, an organization that supports educational activitie around the country, teamed up with Google Maps and Google Earth to create interactive learning tools for children in rural India: How your photos can help teach children in India.
Dear connect community friends specially Mr. @Giu_DiB and Mr. @ermest ,
I wish to throw some lights on my uploaded photos of meet-ups/photo walk of last week.
My meet-ups/photo walk was Non-Official, why so I have tried a lot connect local guides, only two appeared on the scene .As Mr. @ermest suggested to distribute work for easing work load.
But one local guide of level 8 ,didn’t come on time with banners. So it was a setback for me ,so decided to hold non official but with a message to local people what is meaning being a local guide and his role in society.
I live near a heritage and historical place, where Mahatma Gandhi stayed 4 days 102 years back, so the Bihar Government has taken the land for making Gandhi Museum, this renovation work is underway to renovate the ruined house where Gandhi was stayed.
By the way that ruined house belonged to my ancestors and I was born, brought up and lived 40 years at this place.
Thanks for posting the pictures from your meet-up! I’m very happy to see that you all had a great time together. Those memories from childhood are always lovely and we appreciate you wanted to share them with us.
