A photo to Manchieh park in Tripoli Lebanon. It an old park build by Ottoman empire.

coincidence made me a local guide!!
when i was searching for a specific area, i found there is an option to upload a picture on the map. I upload it, i won 5 points, and the story begins.

I learn things about local guide , and one thing lead to another, and only by the true love i have for my country, my passion, and the curiosity of knowing more, more people, more places, even more guides, and this is what keep me stepping the stairs higher and higher.

The program for me is important in the ways it helps me show the beauty of my country to the whole world knowing the national media coverage of hidden tourist locations in Lebanon, is not enough nor heard. This program gives me the opportunity to show others the pictures that I captured with my drone or camera and share it with people. Since entered the program, i developed quickly, and now I look forward to develop my skills in the program by adding roads and answering people’s questions and help them knowing more about my lebanon.

So many places looks like paradise in Lebanon, but no one, even the lebanese people, know a thing about these places.

The more people see the pictures uploaded by me, the more i feel confident, the more i feel related with this duty i entitled myself into.

@MarwanCheikh8 love the aerial shot.

Welcome to Connect. And thanks for sharing. Have you had a chance to take a look at “Your guide at to connect.”? It’s a good starting point for this forum.

By the way, are you applying for Connect Live 2020 with this post? If so, as part of the requirement, you need to write the post under Local Stories topic.

Check out this How to write a great connect live post for more information

You can edit your post/message. Click that three dots and select “Edit Message” as shown in below screenshot.

Once in edit mode, select local stories as Topic. You can only select one topic.

Also, you have written your post in English, you can remove the language tag “Arabic”. You don’t need any language tag if the post is written in English.

Good luck

Hi @MarwanCheikh8 ,

If you’re applying to Connect Live 2020 make sure to share a link to a new Connect post responding to this year’s application prompt. You can find everything you need to know about writing a post for Connect Live 2020 here.

Also, I removed the Arabic language tag from your post as it is in English. Only posts written in a specific language should have the corresponding label. To learn more about this kind of labels I recommend taking a look at the article How do I find posts in my preferred language?.

P.S. I will relabel your post to Local Stories, because the criteria for the Connect Live 2020 applications is to post your content there.
